Monday:  Students continued working on equivalencies by converting decimals to percents and fractions and then converting percents to decimals and fractions.  Mathematics Investigation 13 was handed out and will be due this Friday.

Tuesday:  Students took a brief formative assessment over equivalencies and then we explored placing percents, decimals, and fractions one the same number line.  HOMEWORK:  “Gnarly Number Lines”  the front of the page only.

Wednesday:  Students who have not yet mastered converting fractions to decimals gained extra practice by working on p. 683; L4-8, #1-20.  The other students completed p. 709 in their text book.  HOMEWORK:  The back of the “Gnarly Number Lines” worksheet will be due on Friday.

Tomorrow I will be in meetings during the day.  As a result, questions over Mathematics Investigation 13 will be answered on Friday and the entire worksheet will be collected on Tuesday.
