Monday: No School
Tuesday: Summative test over equivalencies. Introduction to ratios for Mr. Hayes’ and Mrs. Anderson’s homeroom classes.
Wednesday: We continued the introduction to ratios and then students completed a worksheet on part-to-whole and part-to-part ratios. Any student who did not complete this in class will need to take it home to complete.
Thursday: Students graded their paper on ratios, I answered clarifying questions regarding Mathematics Investigation 14, and then we completed an introduction to rates. HOMEWORK: Talk to an adult and come up with five different types of rates that are used in daily living.
Friday: Students worked on finding the unit rate. This worksheet is due on Monday.
